A friend of mine is giving away a free book by Sherri Sand entitled Leave It To Chance. I have copied part of her book review below to give you a taste. Dunkin' Donuts just pulled a Rachael Ray ad campaign because some crazy news commentator said Ray's scarf looked by a keffiyeh (ie. a scarf worn by Arab men). Hello!!! It's a scarf!!!! Somehow this nutty commentator thought that the image of Rachael Ray holding a latte and wearing [...] We spend half of the Memorial Day weekend working on the basement (the other half was split between driving and hanging out with friends). Below are some pictures of the newly sheetrocked basement: This is the corner of the basement where my reading nock will be – you can see the edge [...] I just finished the third part of a three part sermon series from the Duluth Vineyard entitled The Three Marks of the Vineyard Church. I listened to it as part of my personal plan to branch out and hear more about what is happening around the country, especially with the Vineyard Movement. Why [...] Do you get bored while peeing? Would you rather use that time more wisely? Like, say play a video game while peeing… If that sound like fun to you, then you will want to travel to Belgium where two Belgian inventers have created a video gamed controlled by the stream of fluids released [...] When I peaked the top of Horseshoe Pass this morning, I couldn’t help but be amazed at view before me: Glorious green mountains rolling downward towards the earth with dark blue/gray clouds providing a perfect covering for the peaking sun. Measles/Mumps/Rubella, Yellow Fever and Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Tdap) will do that to you… (oh my!) You read that correctly – I got a shot for the Measles/Mumps/Rubella. Apparently the medical minds of the world discovered and a single MMR shot while you’re a kid doesn't work that good. As such, [...] He did it again (God not Bush). He gave us some money right before we needed it. In some ways, it's kinda funny as He has done this to us multitude times. We never cease to be amazed by His forethought and kindness…. Wow!! Here's the story: Last week we received our Federal [...] Downtown Boise was a mess this weekend!! Not only was the Idaho Green Expo going on, but next door (literally) Beth Moore was hosting an event. Not to be left out, the area between the two events was hosting it's own function – ie. a farmers market. This led to a shortage of parking [...] It was a random act – an unplanned movement – a situation with no pre-planning. Saturday evening at 9:40 pm and we were walking home after a long day downtown… it was at that time in space that we noticed Prince Caspian was playing at 9:45 pm…. end of story.
